Back during the Empire Games, each server was given a special color of it's own. If you look at the glass in the spawns, they are all different colors. SMP1 is white, SMP4 is red, SMP5 is lime green, and so on.
I could not remember SMP2 and SMP3. Anyway, here's a color guide! Note that the color is determined by the color of the glass/clay in spawn. SMP1 - White SMP2 - Blue SMP3 - Green SMP4 - Red SMP5 - Lime Green SMP6 - Brown SMP7 - Orange SMP8 - Purple SMP9 - Yellow Utopia - Black
