With this time stuff, I think it may be useful to have an EMC Time on the wiki page that shows us the transition between EMC Time and EST, EDT, GMT, WWE, and times like that.
I'm assuming this would exclude me? :3 ehehe Kidding... normal nights I sleep 1 1/2 to 3 hours ... Usually I 'go to bed' at around 3-5 am ... early nights around 2 read a novel or so for a few hours.. sleep for a bit... get up and go on computer rest of day unless i go outside
I have a question about this staff application form. Even though I have no desire to be a moderator or have an alt account, could we use our alt(s) to apply for moderator and use our main account for non-moderator stuff or something?
It is not a rule, just a guideline. Its intention is to stop people from bugging staff about the application, not to keep everyone hush hush about applying.
We prefer that the account you turn green has a prominent face in the community. Otherwise I wouldn't have the terrible long name that I do and would use my alt =P
Aaaaaarrrgh. Super unhappy. Just made an application, with perfect answers that I took precious time to fill out. I did it off wifi, thinking I could connect later and submit. Just connected, and it reset... Yay me! EDIT: This is a stupid thing to say for someone like me, but I think I'll wait a week or two or something to apply again. I loved my choice of words, but can't recreate it as easily as I put them on pa-- screen.

Whenever I fill out a form with "short" answer boxes, I always copy-paste what I write into Word or an equivalent program. They always time out on me, and copy-pasting is good insurance.
You did nothing wrong. Do not worry. The rule is basically do not ask staff if they got your application. It is absolutely fine to be a little excited
