SMP4: Not Lava walls, Water walls?

I thought I would go to the Wastelands and get some XP and mob drops and I see the following:

Tried to ride a boat up the water fall but didn't have a chance, lol. Died and found out i had bedspawn 18k blocks out. I need to buy armor

Actually, that would be pretty easy to handle with world edit, and would have less lag.

I do not believe that worldedit is allowed on EMC.

The staff would edit it out, not the players.
