I wake up, not having much recollection of anything since before I slept, I picked up my bag and saw that all Mira, Spectrum, and Venom were all gone... I asked the Inn Keeper where my friend went and all he had to say was, "You're a month behind on rent, pay now or I'll call the guards!" I looked at him confusingly I didn't remember much but I did remember that I had paid rent just before going to bed... I reach into my pocket and pulled out a bag and paid him. I continue to look around when he said, " Your friend left with a man who looked quite strange, they left about an hour ago if you hurry you might be able to catch them." I rushed out the door hoping for the st and preparing for the worst I started to run towards the direction the Inn keeper had pointed in, and could only think "Who was this man, and what does he want with Mira?"
Nerp You wake up in a room with some men tied up, a gas chamber, and someone tied to a chair, rigged to bombs.
You wake up in a cage in a jungle. You find a note in your pocket. "I am going with a man named "|-|3L10". We are going to the Volcano to avoid any shadow-walkers, meet us there."
We arrive at the volcano, the top is smoking but the surrounding area isn't as warm as I expect. I flop down on the floor to rest, we've been walking non-stop for ages... 3L didn't look tired at all, if anything he looked more aware. Spectrum plodded over to me and layed against my side, this tongue dangling out of his mouth as he panted. Venom had spent all of the journey in my hood, saving his energy I guess. I pointed upward and he instantly flew off the scan the surrounding area. I sat for a while as 3L paced around, thinking about unknown things. I couldn't help but think about what Rend was doing, is he still at the inn?...Is he alive? My mind trailed back to the note I left him, he could even be on his way here right now. 3L walked over to me and broke my line of thought "You need to improve you skills" he gave me a stern look "Get up, we must begin" I grumbled and reluctantly got up "Graaahh.. What first?" I stretched my tired muscles
A few moments later, I reached the foot of the Volcano and hear the distant sound of swords clashing and indistinct shouting, I draw my sword and run around the corner charging and shouting, just when the mysterious man brings his sword down for another hit on Mira's my blade intercepts, I quickly fling his sword away and before he get's over the initial shock, I knocked him to the ground and before I bring my sword down into his chest. "Wait!" I heard Mira's voice cry out...
"Wait!" I cried, as Rend stood over 3L, ready to bring his sword down. I ran over to Rend and stood in his way, my sword out. "Mira what are you doing?!" he shouted at me I stepped forward to force Rend to step back as well "Don't hurt him..." my voice shook as I warned him He shot me an angry look as he lead me just around the corner "Who is that?!" he pointed to 3L with his sword "That's |-|3L10, he's a friend" I explained "He came into our room at the inn to keep me safe from the Shadow Walkers. You were.. Asleep at the time, you'd been like that for quite a while. 3L said that if I stayed there, I would have been.. Found" Rend didn't look very convinced but he left it there as he walked back around the corner to face 3L. We got back just as he was getting his sword back off the ground "Damn Rend... Doesn't know who he's dealing with..." He grumbled as he picked it up. I shot Rend a warning look as I walked over to 3L "Are you ok?" I asked him, sweeping a bit of dirt off his clothes. I heard Spectrum happily greeting Rend in the background.
After a moment I turned to 3L, "Why are we here?" "I'm training Mira to fight so she at least has a chance without you..." I looked at him angrily, "You moron don't you know this is a hideout for Pyre Giants?" The ground started rumbling in a pattern as if footsteps shook the ground... "Giants!" I shouted...
Rend grabbed me and we ran around the corner, 3L and Spectrum close behind. The ground continued to shake as the giant came closer "What do we do?!" I whispered to Rend and 3L. Venom was circling nearby, he didn't fly down just in case the giant noticed him. I looked around the corner to see a massive red-ish giant standing right there, inspecting his surroundings. I turned back to Rend and 3L "It's right there..." Was I scared? Very. I didn't doubt my friend's sword skills but if we didn't think of something quickly it wouldn't matter how skillful they were. Spectrum was quietly growling, so I bent down and calmed him before the giant heard "It's ok, boy" The giant groaned, making me jump. Rend and 3L weren't talking as they both tried to think of plans. I grabbed both of their shoulders "You guys need to work together for just a moment here! I don't care if you never talk again in your lives but just think of something!" I told them both
I spot something in 3L's cloak, when he pulled it out it looked like a cross combo between a crossbow and a cannon, it wasn't like the rifles we use that's for sure... when he fire a piece of the giant's face was blown off the giant turned moaning and suddenly breathed fire! I turned around and pulled out my rifle and fired it didn't seem to have much effect... bt my arm started to glow... I didn't think, I didn't plan I ran and ran until I was at the giant's foot I climbed up him, you could tell the giant noticed me as he tried to shake me off, but I didn't budge. Once I reached the giant's chest I plunged my arm into him and everything stopped... the giant fell forward and all I could hear was my name "Rend!"...
do I have any recollection of how i got here? Also, i'll ask some of the others how we could get out, and for cooperation
I plunge forward. My amulet tied to my neck glows Red. I begin to glow. I lunge at a Pyre Giant. My amulet glows green. I disappear. I plunge my sword into a giant's head. I then blast him with an icy white-blue aura. I jump into his mouth, taking out some water. I throw it down his throat, as my amulet glows sky blue. I teleport out of his mouth, as it fills with steam and smoke. I blast him with an energy beam, as he was engulfed in steam. I turn around, and find a fire sprite. I punch it, and it turns into a flame that quickly disappears. I jump into the volcano, still glowing. I find an orb of energy. I know what I have to do. I grab it, and concentrate. "Hopefully..." I say to myself as the orb engulfs me with red energy. Pain streaks through my body. I imagine Pyre Giants dying. I imagine fire sprites burning out. As the pain grows, I realize... I imagine Myself, barely alive, in the centre of the volcano. I imagine... I black out. No. A tied up girl is willing to help. You manage to untie her, and make her a weapon. You fall down the hole, and realize you are in a spaceship.
You wake up in a room with strange light floating all around you. it is round, and you can't find a way out.
