West Germany begins the research of metal exoskeletons for military use. In the mean time, West Germany prepares to claim the untouched land east of here.
West Germany sends 500 soldiers and claims the land to the east (East Germany). We change our name to the United Republic of Germany (URG).
URG would like to join Anglendia. Sending our current research of military exoskeletons to factories. Should begin mass production in about 6 months.
We, the citizens of the United Republic of Germany want to help the world. We will protect every nation from any type of evil that plagues this earth. We will helpfully trade and try to prevent war. We will share our research so everyone can benefit from it. We will have every city well protected with an army, though hopefully we won't have to use it because we strive for peace, peace for all.
Italia accepts the invitation for URG to join Anglendia. Italia is similar in this manner and hope that the whole earth can benefit from the newly found friendship. Though war will happen no matter what, whether it be a rebellion inside or with other countries, war will come, but it is what prevents it that makes peace.
URG thanks Italia for its friendship. URG also begins constructing a new capital in the newly claimed East Germany. This will take about 5 years.
Only 7 years left until the completion of the Gravi-Drop. Newly named the Gravi-Drop cause it is fun to say.
German builders discover rich coal and iron mines below the new capital, now named Norderstedt. Builders have finished building 5 neighborhoods, the city hall, 2 hospitals, 3 schools, 6 office buildings, 2 apartment buildings and a college. Only 2 years left till the capital is fully finished.
Norderstedt is finished, with a population of 3 million. Buisness is booming, and life is great for everyone in the URG. Our army has increased in size to 15,000, and we have at least 1,000 troops guarding Berlin, Norderstedt, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, and Hanover. 500 troops guard smaller cities and other Anglendia cities.
((I am so confused on what area is Anglendia right now but I know that most of the world is part of Anglendia and volt's union is small compared to it. I am one of the original members but, I have no clue. That's saying something.))
((Wow. I think Anglendia is UK and Europe, at least that is what the map on page 33 says. It seems like they just took the map on page 1 and made some parts purple.)) The University of Norderstedt (Go Lynxes!) says that as a college project, they will begin collecting all the names of Anglendia and create a map as part of their Geography unit. Message URG with the name of your country if you are in Anglendia. ((Just PM me if you are in Anglendia and I will make a map and post it later.))
Famine has struck URG. Wheat, barley, and corn crops failed this year causing moderate starvation. A new type of disease hit Hanover; it has never been documented before. Its symptoms are sweating, stroke, vomiting, and hemmorhaging. Hanover has been closed to transport except for medical supplies. URG is researching a cure or a vaccine. Many people are fleeing to other countries, such as Italia, Switz, UK, or even Japan. Population has dropped from 35,055,654 to 34, 965, 784.
Not to burst your bubble, but it would take several hundred years to make a dark (its actually called anti-) matter bomb that large.
Launchpad is finished, and the San Marino Aerospace Administration (SMAA) is formed. Work begins on the first satellite and Bluestone rocket.
URG is setting up radio distress calls. We need food and medicine desperately. Already 200,000 have died from the plague and another 50,000 have left the country for other lands. The population now sits at 34,789,876.
