[SUGGESTION] More leaderboards (voting, rupees?, referrals)

  1. I like this. Probably only over time though, just have EMC features-only leaderboards first, plus in-game stats are fairly easy to boost with.

  2. Well what do you mean by boost with? For example, if your talking blocks broken, maybe you sit at your stone gen all day, well your still doing the work right? Blocks placed? Well if someone wants to go place and break blocks over and over all day, I'd let 'em... It must be awful boring though.

  3. Boosters would be at the top of the boards, so I wouldn't want statistics to be a priority. It also wouldn't really be as effective as the main 3 suggestion leaderboards so adding them over time and when the others get a bit less interesting would be a good idea.

    Right now, I'd like to focus this idea on EMC feature leaderboards. :)

  4. One major problem I see with pulling stats from the client is that the stats monitor monitors over your whole Minecraft, so a single-player world could effect your EMC stats. For it to work, Aikar'd have to program in a separate stat system for EMC.

  5. I think a good leader board would be the amount of ender dragons you have killed. But we would have to wait for the Dragon Tombs first.

  8. I would really love a voting leaderboard, but no rupees. Then everyone would just stock up their money forever.

  12. Yes; I don't think adding a rupee leaderboard would make everyone focus just in the rupees.

  13. It would make it too easy to boost, and if the rupees went down when they were spent then it wouldn't be lifetime, people would just boost by paying eachother large sums over and over until they were top

  14. Yes I think more goals are needed, something else which would be good I think is the mob arena maybe something could be done with that for ppl who participate and for winners.

    I like the idea of the rupees one with an option to not participate as it would help with transparency and maybe stop ppl asking "how much rupees you have"

    You make a good point. Something I wouldn't like to go with would be to only make chest-shop transactions count but apart from that I'm not sure of a solution. Even then, it wouldn't really fix it. :)

  16. I love the idea, I also like the idea of rupee leader boards to see where you are in the mix of everyone, it would also be nice to see if everyone is telling the truth about how many rupees they have :p I can't see any of the suggestions being too hard to implement.
