  1. Not in our universe. Most modern physicists believe in dark matter. It is a type of matter that takes up all the nothing of space, but we can't perceive it in any way.
  2. Because we have to know or we have nothing to base why we don't believe in God or Jesus on.

  3. Which is ironic, as the burden of proof lies with the ones making the claims, not with the skeptic of the claim. Tell that to a theist though, and you get nowhere. :p

  4. You realize that the iPhone is just your below average kit car, right? Not to mention, iOS is extremely closed source. Also, it took Apple years to implement folders. Give some examples as to what you find "customizable" on iOS.

  5. But if you are the one who make the claim there is no God, where is your proof? :p
  6. A lot of religious people get this wrong. It's very subtle, but the difference is important: I'm not claiming there is no god. I'm rejecting the claims made for god, because the claims have never been substantiated.

The video I posted demonstrates this principle very well. Religious people use this standard all the time too, for every other aspect of their beliefs and opinions. With god, however, they use the fallacy known as special pleading, i.e. they set the standard of evidence aside and just "take it on faith" instead.

  7. Ahh. Okay. I misunderstood. I am not able to watch the video right now. I initally took you to be an athiest. I see now you are an agnostic.

    Cheers,
    Curundu
  8. Actually, I'm both. :) They are talking about different things.
  9. An athiest, though does indeed deny the existence of God, or as you say, they do claim that there is no God.
An agnostic does not posit a particular faith, but does believe at least in the possibility of a God.

The definitions are mutually exclusive. So I am naturally confused when you say you are both.

  13. When you are judged in heaven, and someone you know does not belive in God, you will no longer remember that person once you die. You will deny that you know them, while they still remember you.
  14. Well, you have no idea your torturing them. Since you are ignorant (big word :p), you cannot understand what you are doing to them.
Like infants, they are automaticaly saved, because they are too young to understand what Jesus did to pay for our sins.
  15. I disagree. I will repeat what I said above, those in heaven are there because they want to be. Life is a process of making a choice for God and for Heaven. God in his mercy helps to save many too wounded to make a good choice. The Bible also says somewhat cryptically that a person who is saved will save their spouse as well.

In heaven you will not forget. God will wipe away your tears. The story of Lazarus makes that clear.
  16. Jesus says in the Bible that many WANT to go to heaven, but will not. He says that many people will confess their sins, repent, and say that Jesus is their savior, but their actions do not show it, therefor they are sentanced to hell
  17. Okay, Apple products are very customizable, for example, how many Windows computers will let you change the highlight color or cursor size without third party programs?
  18. Just LOOK at the settings of an iOS device-you'll see what I mean.
  19. Lol. Third party edit and personal edits are what make Windows/Linux computers custom, and what make Macs closed source.
I had one, and have friends who have them. My Android device has many more pages of options than an iPhone.
