This is one of the MAJOR misconceptions that I hear from athiests...that us who believe are just sitting around all our lives worrying about something bad that's going to happen, haha. It's quite the opposite. My friends know me as one of the happiest people they know...someone who rarely gets upset/angry at things, and one who doesn't fear "the end". Haha.
I think there's been a misunderstanding. I was just trying to say why us atheists don't feel that way. In no way did I intend to imply that believers feel that way. However, like cddm95ace said, and like I think a lot of believers think, he says that if he didn't have belief in Jesus, his life would be hollow and not have meaning... so I was just trying to show why I don't feel that way, when I don't have this belief in Jesus.
Thats an awesome attitude on life. However, I can just not be satisfied that this existance is all there is, and that is there is not some higher purpose to it.
I hope that I am young enough so that scientists are able invent a way to transfer my consciousness into a robot before I die.

In heaven, there is no more pain. no more suffering. no more sorrow. Heaven is a beautiful place, where we worsip God for the rest of eternity. Hell is a horrible place full of sorrow, greif, pity, and hatred. It is filled with sin, and suffering and pain. Hell is the place where we go to be punished forever

It won't be you. If science could do this transfer today with the stipulation that you sign an agreement that this You will be immediately terminated, would you agree? What if the transfer were just a duplication so that all of your consciousness also remains in your body?

OH btw did I forget to mention that we can manipulate DNA/Genes now? But human rights activists prevent this, we should be able to do what we want lol.
