  3. I am proud to announce that Pantano is now open to new residents. This has a been a long awaited day. But with shear determination, perseverance, and dedication we are finally able to accept new applicants into the growing city of Pantano. I would like to thank all those involved in the making of our awesome city.

We have several farms built for our resident's convenience. Currently including:

I as the mayor of Pantano would like to personally extend an invitation to all those that would like to live out here in the wild, that are not already with us in the great Pazzo Empire, to apply. We are a community of players who's goal is to build and grow together in the wild. To live in a wild city environment without the limitations of in-town living(all emc rules and a few wild town rules still apply).

With that said, griefers, thieves, troublemakers, and just plain bad apples need not apply. I am a fair mayor, but am very intolerant person when it comes to those willing to break the rules, even if it's the minor rules.

So if you love living in the wild, love helping others, and love being part of a growing family oriented community then apply and see where the adventure takes you! You now have the option of choosing Pantano to live in!!
  4. You just had to include my half built tree in that picture...

  5. Question.
Does the Pazzo outpost export many of its products to Town?
  6. lol well get over here and add to it :p i think its look good so far, cant wait to see it finished :D
  7. no we are a wild living community, not really out here for monetary gain. some players do export some of the items they collect to sell in their shops in town, but thats not the main nature of our wild community

  8. #6 is not a question, nor is being a supporter a requirement.

This is not how applications are filled out.

  9. Hmm, okay, why don't you have an outpost member or two do a weekly run into Town and back, where they take the most valuable resources produced each week, auction them off to the community, and distribute the income equally among all active members of the outpost?

This activity wage could potentially attract a lot of members to the outpost and would act as a key factor in boosting member numbers. The higher the member numbers, the bigger the outpost shall get.

Of course, you did mention that not everyone specifically seeks money, so some members could opt to donate their wage to an individual or venture of their choice, or even simply refuse it so everyone else gets more. You could also boost the Town economy by having the runners buy resources for your latest construct from Town shops.

As an alternative to all active members getting a wage, a Pazzo Trader's Guild could be formed, made up of all the main producers of resources. This would be better than the active member wage, because not all active members of Pazzo may focus on obtaining and selling resources. The money could instead be distributed among the guild members, who would spend it either on Town resources via the runners, a donation to a venture, distributing it as an activity wage to non-guilders, or simply refuse it so others have more.
  10. (I blame my computer for not loading more recent comments)
Question (or not question) number six was one that I added just to show... you know what? I'll just redo my application, sorry for bothering you.
  11. Are you offering your services? I've mentioned before in another thread that I thought a goods runner would be a service I thought a lot of people might pay decently for. No one's doing it as far as I know either.
  12. we already have system for getting things back and forth. We already have multiple incomes supporting the community. We do not ask that our members donate all or any of their funds, because thats not what it is about. The people who do support it, were very established before hand. There is also a shop on SMP9 that is made my the Zolara members advertised as the 'Pazzo Shop'. It brings income as well. We are financed.

If you would like to talk to someone about being a transporter of goods back and forth to town, you would need to speak with someone in Pazzo who is interested in that. I personally am not. But others may be.

  16. i mentioned to you in-game that you must apply at our outside website, please do so inorder for us to consider ur application

personally i am opposed to turning the cities into an industrial community for the purpose of monetary gain, thats not y i moved out here. i like the non business aspect of the community we have. so as far as having a shop/market center to sell to other members of the community out here, pantano is not needing such a place at the moment.

as far as having a "runner", i feel that the runner should be some1 who has been approved thru our application process, so as to keep it fair to the rest of our community that had to go thru the same process to get out here.

as far as "a wage" goes, i would not set up such a group. i do not expect payment for helping to manage pantano and therefore would decline the idea of having "employees with paychecks" in pantano. my goal here is the help others build in the wild and share resources for free to build out here with, if an individual wants to gather their own items to sell in town i am fine with it, but as for having groups set up the help some1 else stock their shop then no. that, in my opinion, is not what we are about out here.
  17. Fair enough.
  18. I signed up!
  19. i approved you. directions to pazzo can be found on our website in the forum section. from there i will tell you how to reach pantano once you arrive in pazzo. :)
  20. I created account for outside site (KimBoo or BooKim) to post but got no confirmation mail, and checked my junk mail filters. I had an invite to join but I think I may be ineligible. I have a pretty good reputation other than being kicked one time for accidental use of caps. And to be fair, I protested it quite a bit since I never had an issue or warning, and was a large contributor as well as a diamond supporter. But that aside, I'm always helpful and respectful to other courteous players. I built the World Trade Center Memorial, The Greek Market, Colossium, assisted in the Great Pyramid 1770, and created many redstone marvels like the 2,400 piston auto sugar cane farm. (before the trading limits were implemented) If it matters any, I am quite wealthy.....HA!
