  14. That said of course I'd take an old Imac over the POS I got at the moment.
    Well at this point I'd even take an old windows 2000 office desktop if it runs fine*

    *linux runs great on those, but minecraft does not

    With some luck I might get an old desktop that should handle modern linux and minecraft before Christmas. People are throwing their "old" computers out and selling them cheaply. Maybe...

    I think alot of people will move towards it due to windows 8.
    A great example of lunix is unbuntu I tried it and it was good but most of my software is for OSX so I gave up on it.

  17. The one problem I have with it is that it is not very virus proof. Unlike Unix. But that is what you get with it being open source.

    If you really want to know why I prefer linux make another thread or mail / pm me and I will tell you :)
    Same for anyone else who wants to have an OS debate.
