  8. im entering for scary stories.
It was a peaceful day on EMC. People where buying and selling things to each other. A player was going out and getting some carrots in the wild. He searched until it was night and soon found himself stuck in the middle of nowhere. He was stuck nowhere to run from the monsters chasing him. Two creepers, five zombies, 4 skeletons, and 6 spiders where chasing him. He was running up hills and through lakes. He kept running until he was back up to a lava pit. A good portion of the monsters died either by exploding and killing themselves and others or died by fall damage. There was only one zombie left and the EMCer punched it into lava and it burned to death dropping its rotting flesh into the burning liquid. Then suddenly an enderman teleported to him and the player saw the tall black figure. He stood scared as the enderman attacked him. The enderman’s fierce attack would have killed anyone with no armor and nothing but a fist to fight with. Then the players Minecraft client crashed. The crash report had lines binary code shaped into the head of Steve. The Minecraft client went black and the player warped into a twisted world. Ocelots of multi colors where on leaves and creepers where white and grey. The player found himself being chased once more. Then he was teleported to a tower. Something holding a gold enchanted sword was 4 blocks away from him. He saw it was him. It was the white eyed infamous creature known as Herobrine. He was walking towards the player and handed him his sword. The enderman that was killing him earlier had come back. The players swung the sword at the tall beast only for it to teleport behind the player and knocked him to the ground. The drop killed the player. The respawn came on despite being useless. A 911 siren was heard through the streets of the quiet neighborhood. In the 911 truck was the player. He was in a coma and still hasn’t awakened. Then as the Minecraft was on the respawn screen someone selected to close Minecraft. The same person had been stuck for years unconscious. He hasn’t awakened since. Some say that a player lurks the wild telling people to please click respawn only to never two things. An answer or help.

  9. Here is my story enjoy :D
This is the story of the dead dog. (Based on a myth in my country)

One day a man was going to visit his father in his tomb, he wanted to give his dad a few flowers because he promised to give him some flowers someday, when he arrived is too late and it was already night, man got out of his car and opened the door, he walked to the section of his family and approached the tomb of his father, he put flowers and said bye with a prayer, he turned around and saw fog, he was worry, so he went toward his car as fast as he could, suddenly he saw something move between the plants, he was so scared he run in the opposite direction, he ran and ran as fast as he could, and suddenly he hit against a big, hollow tree, he woke up and did not know in what part of the cemetery he was, when suddenly he saw a deformity of a dog, it had twisted hip and it was walking like a beast, his face had big eyes and white as the Moon, black as night and evil body, his bark was very sharp, the man was scared, he didn't know what to do run or defend himself, but he did not know how to defend himself against this beast, so he ran with all the energy he had, he could hear the footsteps of the dog, when the man came to the door, he turned and did not see anything only the tombs, the full moon, and the terrible night and spirited fog, the man was white as if his soul came out flying, arriving at his house he told his wife and she told him that it was the dead dog, she said: Legends says that the dead dog walk with their legs by the cemetery during the nights of pure darkness and evil, protects the dead from the living, including can kill the living by hunger or desire, the dead dog shows his white form as clouds for those who deserves, or black as the pure night, anyone is at serious risk when they saw it. The man did not know whether it was an illusion or really saw him.

  11. Here's my entries.

I guess it's been around 5 years since this happened, a couple friends (Alex and John) and I we're out spotlighting for hogs and hunting the next day. Alex's grandparents have around a thousand acres in east Texas, and we thought we'd make a trip out there and try a new field out.

We loaded up the truck with more rifles, pistols, and shotguns then we'd ever use, and headed off. I always have a hard time just bringing a couple guns, what if I want to shoot something else. The three hour drive there was uneventful, just chatting among ourselves and enjoying the cool weather - a rarity for that time of year in Texas. It was around 11 pm when we arrived – we all got set for a good few hours of hunting.

To explain how spotlighting works – the general idea is you drive or walk around the property with a spotlight shining the beam around. An animal’s eyes reflect light, so you can easily see the reflection in a field and head that way. Hogs seem to come out more at night – avoiding the Texas heat – so it’s a good chance to find more game in a shorter time.

Hours go by and we've seen nothing but rabbits. We've started walking through the land thinking the truck was scaring away the animals. I’ve moved to pistol hunting at this point, the other guys still have their rifles. We killed some time shooting limbs or calling shots at rocks. I honestly can’t shoot a shotgun with any notable ability – but am a practiced marksman with a rifle and was on the pistol team during college. I know how to handle the guns I shoot.

Minutes later I prove it. We had decided rabbits we’re better eating than spam, so they we’re fair game. A rabbit takes off across the field in front of us and we open fire. It’s around 30 yards away, they both fire twice and miss. My first shot connects. We pick it up and I proceed to make fun of them for being out shot by a guy with a pistol. We laugh and keep going – at least I’ve got dinner.

At this point my ego has gotten the better of me – that last rabbit shot was undeniably a fair part luck. I see a rabbit on a hill – what amounts to an embankment around a pond, probably 100 yards away and know that I won’t make the shot, but I take off towards it. The hill slopes down away from where I’ve came and the rabbit heads that direction. I make it to the top of the hill and look down my sights.

I don’t see a rabbit. But I see eyes. Large eyes – but nothing like I’ve ever seen before. There was no reflection in these eyes, no sign of movement. They we’re somewhere between 4 and 5 feet off the ground, in don’t know given the slope. These eyes were just staring at me from the woods. Staring at me from where the rabbit must have gone. I’ve always been one of the advocates for firearm safety, part of which is knowing your target. In a less than proud moment I fired.

I know the first shot hit the mass. I KNOW IT. The eyes did nothing. No reaction, if anything, they seemed pleased. I fired my remaining 5 shots at the mass – hoping for an effect. Nothing. Shaking I began to reach for my speedloader to reload. The eyes moved towards me. Moved closer within the woods. I ran. I ran faster than I’ve ever run before. As fast as I could run back to the others. They we’re visibly shaken by what I assume was my manner and look of horror. We headed back the way we came, two of us watching the way behind.

Forfeiting the idea of camping, I put us up in a local hotel for the night. I spent the whole night sleepless, staring at the door. Waiting.

The morning came and we had to head back. I had told them both the story a hundred times at this point, and we had to look. Every last firearm I could carry was on me at the time, even then I was bringing up the rear. We drove to the pond and got out where I had given chase the night before. They headed over the hill, I was around 20 yards back. I hear them talking, and make out “what the hell” from john. They yell for me to come over.

In the woods where the eyes had been was a rabbit. A dead rabbit that could only be described as forced into the tree – hanging on its trunk. The only way I can describe it is that it looked like it had been run over, but on the trunk. Run over until it’s bones held it to the bark and below it was my speedloader.

Something put that rabbit there, and something moved my speedloader. No one else was on the land, and neither of my friends were out of my sight since that night.

I still think about that night from time to time. I haven’t been back to the land since. Haven’t been in the woods at night since. I’m still not completely over it - to be honest I’m taking some zzzzquil tonight to make sure I sleep. I still get the shivers when I think about it – I don’t know if I ever will.

    Here's our costumes.

  14. 'Bout 24 hours left to enter! A few people have dominated some sections, but that doesn't mean you can't take the place! Halloween decoration spot could use a few more entries!

  15. Alright, I've decided that I have to at least enter one section, so here is my Halloween costume from last year. Since green lantern had come out and I was single then, I decided to go as green lantern's girlfriend and archenemy: Star Sapphire. My grandma and I made the costume and the pic doesn't show the boots, but it's the only pic I could find. Below is the character reference for those of you who don't know your comics (or you can google "star sapphire"). I'm still deciding on whether or not to enter the other sections. :p

    Story:

    Lost

“Where am I?” Frank exclaimed. He heard a distant voice. It sounded like his mother’s.
“You will find out soon enough,” it had said.
Frank yelled, this time angrily,“Where am I!”.
The voice did not reply. Frank was getting frustrated. He struggled to stand up. What had happened to his clothes? Why were they so dirty? He looked around, there had to be some way to escape. “Help, Help!” yelled Frank. His fists pounded against the walls. He started crying in frustration. That’s when he saw it, a window. He ran to it and thought how all those karate lessons may finally pay off. He kicked and punched, the finally realize the window must be bulletproof. “Whoa!” exclaimed Frank. “Ouch!”. He had just fallen in a trapdoor!
“You may come out now,” said the voice. He looked up and saw some one in tattered black robes. The thought finally came to his mind. He had been kidnapped! “You have not been kidnapped,” said the voice.
Why did it sound so much like his mother’s? It was impossible! She had died years ago in a car crash! Though Frank was only four at the time, he remembered it so well. Crack! Frank just smacked his skull on the wall! “Ouch!”. Wait, this floor isn’t supposed to move. Why is it moving? When the floor finally reached the top, Frank demanded, “What is your name.” “Cora” she replied. No, this made no sense. That was his mother’s name! She took her hood off. Impossible! She looked exactly like his mother! “This is impossible.” Frank muttered to himself. A boy about sixteen move beside Cora. He said his name was Luka. This made no sense! That was his brother who had died in the crash with his mother! “ What do you want from me!” cried Frank. “We want you to believe.” replied the boy named Luka. He bolted for the window. Something tripped him. Luka’s hand was stretched out. Was he a wizard? “Let me out of here.” begged Frank. “I just want to go home.”. “You will be allowed if you believe.” said Luka. “Believe what!” cried Frank. “That we are alive,” said Cora. “But I always have!” cried Luka. “Then you may go,” said Luka. Frank saw a door that he had not seen before. He walked out. Now he was lost in a forest. He turned around to go back to the house. It had disappeared! Now he ran at full speed as far as he could but it seemed as if he only ran in circles! When it seemed as if he was finally out of the circle, he was pounced! He was knocked out and brought to a different cabin. “Believe,” said a ghostly voice, “Believe”. Written in 4th grade as Extra credit..

  18. Alright, I finally found a pic of the outside of the family's house though it isn't a very good one since its day time. Toward the right there was a haunted house in the garage that looked awesome on the insides, but the pictures aren't available to me right now.
