I didn't think this would be possible, especially because they can be copied to other sites and not break... I bet I could even write a new image on EMC then, rather than copying it. Yup, it works. Really interesting! Does anyone know what this relies on? Otherwise I'm going to ask others, I want to figure out how this is done. That's quite hard to read, to me. Good picks! Um, this site doesn't work great. I don't think you could get to this page from the homepage (although in that case I'm not sure how it got indexed?), as the only option is 'WOMEN'. Also, you cannot open the images shown on the right of the main image, and if you click the arrow to scroll down you can't scroll back up. The 'English' dropdown gives options for Turkish and Russian, but picking one of those options doesn't do anything. The 'Kazachstan' dropdown doesn't drop down. Here's another nice screenshot. They used the wrong button type (radio button instead of checkbox), but you can actually 'uncheck' it. Lastly, here's part of the homepage. It's only the English version of the site that's messed up, I found. If you go to the main version, you can switch successfully between Turkish and Russian, and most of the issues mentioned are resolved. I wonder how this happened, and whether they're aware of it! They might have just abandoned the English translation.
Wow, that's quite the close-up! Crazy! A screenshot from Wiktionary, because I learnt something from it! This is not Chinese. Tangut is an extinct language that was last used over 500 years ago, and while the characters look similar to Chinese characters (at least to me), they are quite different. Remarkably, whereas lots of Chinese characters are iconic, or were originally (such as 木 meaning tree), Tangut characters are not.
