Well, yes, but that's my post, I obviously can't do two consecutive numbers in the same post. That's from Garmin Connect! According to it (from data that my watch collected), I've set 8445 steps so far today, which it says is 7.27 km. Hmm, in my opinion, partly. It's a reasonable substitute I hadn't thought about! I think the feeling it gives is slightly different, but not far off. Ohhhh I remember this from many many years ago!! The number is exactly in the middle in the bottommost row of text.
