  1. So these are my folders

.minecraft - saves - Kryarias (world name) - datapacks (which is then empty)

no functions folder or anything :(
  2. I've never heard of that folder, but if it is supposed to be empty, you can just manually create the folder. :)

  3. What is the purpose of the folder? I’m not familiar with it, but perhaps it would be good to know for future reference.

  4. A function allows players to run lists of commands using text files with the extension . mcfunction

  5. I have four saved worlds. Each world's "data" folder contains a folder named, "functions". The full path looks like this: C:\Users\Pab10S\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\Test World\data\functions. When I look at some older saves, they have no functions folder.

I checked and see that Functions were added in 1.13. If you do not have a functions folder, might you have created your world prior to that version? I would try creating the functions folder in the Kryarias\data folder and see if it works. As a control, you could take a newer save or create a new world and try a simple test function in it to make sure you are doing it correctly then try it with the Kryarias world.
