  1. The Federation has also started research on a new type of machine gun research will take 7 years

The Halcón M-1943 is a submachine gun of Argentine origin and is chambered in both 9×19mm Parabellum for the Army and .45 ACP for police forces
  2. The Caliph is pushing forward archaeology heavily, demanding the education behind it be expanded in universities, and also the demand to find more archaeological finds. Pay has been rising up for archaeologists, making it a well paid and well-respected career, done by the best, the Caliph wants the middle east history to be dug up again and embraced. With the New Library of Alexandria on the verge of completion, the Caliph wants more ancient wonders to be rebuilt, specifically Babylon. Recently the ruins of Babylon have experienced immense popularity, new sites are being excavated every week, and the dream of rebuilding it has flashed through the minds of the Sunayyad Empire. Yes, you read that right, the Caliph wants Babylon to be rebuilt into the mega-city it once was, this time with the splendour of the Ishtar gate reborn, city walls painted, and the city dubbed New Babylon to be 3x bigger than the original city, all made from advanced mud brick, stone and modern technologies. It's planned to be completely free of slums, and to be a clean, tropical metropolis utopia, cradling on the Euphrates river, it will most likely become the new Capital of the Islamic Caliphate. Talk has been reached, and plans are being built. After another 3 years of excavation is finished, the Caliph wants New Babylon to be constructed, yet once it is constructed, it will be finished in 20 years, basically in 1953.

As for Sudan, it has been conquered and transformed into a colony. The Provincial borders are disputed, although for now a provisional government has been in place, and the Blue Nile River under Abyssinia rule. As for Sudan, it has been named Neo-Kush, the Kushite Kingdoms, Kush and Nubia or just Kush. It will be a colony and have its main focus on the Nile River. Mining and agriculture is planned to be heavily focused, and with the power of the Islamic Caliphate and Abyssinia, the region of Kush, a colony of Egypt will be brought back to life from the Ancient world.
  3. ...The M4 Sherman isn't even built yet, let alone the T34. The Naheul DL 43 that you're basing on isn't even made in this time period, it was made in the 1940s, it's only 1933, slow down, the Federation has never even built tanks before, let alone a copy of a tank which doesn't exist yet, the SEU has been making tank models for years, yet they haven't even come out with the T34 yet.

the Halcón M-1943 is also made in 1943...
  4. The SNE is behind on technology... So the production in factories is increased. Also the SNE is devolving a radar system to be fitted in ships. This is a brand new invention and the SNE will spend a lot of time making it as good as possible.

The SNE has made its way to Romania... and troops have landed in the country with some resistance. The tax angers the SNE because they believe it is public waters, so for now they refuse to pay the tax.
  5. Note that my ship ratings are for cost-effectivness. In terms of overall power, Yi Sun Shin is King.
Also, Nergal is the ship with the most illustrious career in the Caliphate Navy, and second in the World, second to Socialist Revolution.
  6. SEU is recruiting the most Goddman obscure and small ethnic minorities one can think of, for whatever reason.
Also, they want UBR's computer research, also for whatever reason.
Lastly, they are recruiting vast numbers of mathematicians.
  7. Dude slow down; SEU has a massive lead over everyone else in Radar research and they haven't even invented a land-based one yet, much less a ship-based one.
Also, SEU's 280mm guns are complete and SEU is creating the Battleships, 6 months to complete them all.
  8. Sorry, didn't realize

  9. SEU has finally, after all these years, produced a working, functioning, land-based Radar system. It works, enough for military purposes. Finally, finally, the fruits of years of research and ceaseless work. It is nothing short of excellent, their trump card; SEU has put years of effort and work into the Radar, and it has paid off; and Caliphate, Federation or even SNE Radar will be light-years behind. The Caliphate hasn't even started, SNE is in the very conceptual stages, and the Federation is working in the wrong direction. They have a comfortable lead.
However, they are keeping this under wraps and secretly disguising their installation of Radar systems as buildings.
But make no mistake, SEU is enthusiastically deploying them everywhere they can, it's a matter of time until the secret is broken.
  10. SEU has finished reconstructing Yi Sun-Shin, which has greatly improved her compartmentalization to make up for their light armor, AA and targeting systems in preparation for the new Radar. More Boilers and Turbines have been installed to add armor, which will allow the thickest portions to withstand high quality 18-inch shells. Due to their all-or-nothing schemes, the magazines and fuel tanks have impressive armor that can withstand any 18-inch shell. In 6 months, Myeongyang will finish her own (hers is significantly more extensive), opening up the docks for the 2 unknown Battleships. The First has begun construction. This has upped the standard load displacement to nearly 104,014 tons, and full load to 110,121 tons, with the increased armor and engines. While this has made them even worse sea boats, they are still very survivable.
  11. The Caliphate has indeed started Radar technology a while ago, no prototype was built at the time, but engineers had the full concept in mind and worked out different methods a few years back. Still, not SEU quality, the first radar prototype is completed... Too bad it barely works. Sure, there is some information that can be seen, but overall its fuzzy and needs quite a bit of work, nonetheless, its a huge leap in Islamic research, if it keeps going, in 2 years a fully functioning land-based radar system should be built, maybe it won't be amazing, but it will definitely be good.
  12. The AU-V1, the newest model of Caliphate fighter jet class, uses a complex frame, of monocoque and specially curved skeletons, putting less stress on the plane and making it overall more fitting for higher speeds and defence. It follows an elliptical wing design, with 8 fitted Turk 18 mm machine guns. They are placed with special cooling and heating valves, making them a bit more reliable in combat, and the higher calibre gives them fewer rounds to destroy enemy aircraft with. It will be introduced in 30 posts.
  13. The first of the monstrous "TYPE 101 CLASS" has begun construction:
    a reminder on the specs:
    91,131 tons displacement
    29 knots full speed
    8 20-inch (508mm) guns in 4 twin turrets
This thing... is the only design in the World that rivals the Yi Sun-Shin-Class. It has unprecedentedly powerful guns, 20-inch caliber, or 508mm, and with a 16 ton broadside, it is second only to the Yi Sun-Shin's superheavy broadsides of 18 tons. With a relatively fast speed, thick, all-or nothing armor and a large size, it could prove a formidable challenge for the title of most powerful Battleship against the Yi Sun-Shin.
However, this ship is not without drawbacks.
For one, its AA Battery is relatively light, its AP shells not the best that it could be due to the guns' massive size. For another, its sheer size will necessitate its building in a SEU shipyard, though SEU has allowed the [REDACTED] to send its own workers in there if they want. This will allow SEU to find out all about it and to document its weaknesses. Lastly, it is immensely costly and will not be cheap.
    also this
    SEU Battleship Weaknesses:
For one, their optics are mediocre. They've gambled everything on Radar, and while this was in fact a very good gamble, if one could take out both of the Radars on a Battleship, then the ships' performance would be significantly lowered. SEU has the best Firing Computers in the World, but they are useless without Radar or general input.
Another is their general unseaworthiness. Due to the drastic innovations taken to save weight and make speed, this makes them bad sea boats and not very good to live in. They have earned the nickname "Submarines".
Lastly, and most importantly, despite all the AA onboard these ships, (a ton) they have no idea how to fight without air cover. They are used to having escort Carriers. The only response SEU Battleships have to their Escort Carriers being sunk is running away to the nearest friendly port. This is... inefficient. Taking out 1 of the 2 capital ships in a task force can take out the entire task force, in effect because it will turn tail and run.
To elaborate, SEU's capital ships have a religious devotion to 30+ knots, the speed to serve alongside Carriers. They go to truly extreme lengths to make this happen, which has rendered their Battleships Heavily Armored Battlecruisers in all but name.
SEU's Fast intercept Battleship is an eyesore, but it is ironically the best sea boat out of the three designs. It is actually pretty good at its job.
SEU's grunt worker is much better-looking, and it is fast for its size, but it is a terrible sea boat, the deck is very wet.
The pride of the SEU Navy is an unmaneuverable mess. It's too big, too unwieldy to fit at most ports. However, it is extremely large and that gives it unprecedented range, firepower, and endurance. Its sheer size serves as armor, because it is simply too big to easily sink.
All this size makes it extremely costly, and SEU is unwilling to deploy these ships to anywhere but the most important of Battles.
All in all, they're decent (not good) ships. They don't make the best use of their monstrous space, nor are they particularly efficient with their fuel. But they work fine and do their jobs.
SEU is building tankers and supply ships, built with the sole purpose of linking up with their monstrous capital ships and to resupply them, particularly Yi Sun-Shin, because there are only 3 ports in the entire World capable of servicing them and 1 is the original shipyard they were built in. If Yi Sun-Shin runs out of supplies, it is doomed so SEU is making sure that never happens.
  14. For some reason, the Caliphate is the only nation who has figured out that babies feel pain. Doctors everywhere have concluded that babies don't feel pain until they are 1 year old. Caliphate doctors have determined in their research that this is false and that babies indeed do feel pain, as well as animals. This will change medicine forever, its information is very valuable (yes, this is true in real life, it sounds stupid but its true, it wasn't concluded until 1999 that babies felt pain until 1 year old)

In more medical breakthroughs, the Caliphate discovered a vaccine for the Yellow Fever, truly a breakthrough discovery and the sign of the Caliphate leading towards medical advancements.

The Medicine department in the Sunayyad Caliphate is highly advanced, discoveries on different blood types and the possibility of donation of blood has been discovered, as well as countless of other medications, medical and surgical equipment and over all improved science.

  15. SEU has finally pulled Penicillin out of their TOP SECRET files and shared with everyone what it is, and how to make it in small quantities. SEU has not taught then how to make it in vast quantities, nor how to make sure it stays in the body (which they also have figured out, Penicillin escapes from the body very fast). Nevertheless, SEU is developing new Antibiotics from this type.
  16. The Socialist Eurasian Union has abruptly cancelled its contract for the second of the Unknown Battleships for whatever reason, and refunded to the unknown party 1/2 of the money sent. In addition, they have ordered the construction of another Commerce Raider Battleship, citing concerns of [REDACTED]. In addition, SEU is negotiating with Mexico as well as Guinea to allow them to have Naval Bases there. South Africa is being threatened by SEU to let them have a Naval Base there as well. They have many Naval Bases, among which are Pacific Island bases and African continental bases, all of which allow for refuel and resupply.
  17. The Caliphate opts for Mozambique and Mauritania to open up their mining sectors, due to the large supply of Iron in
Mauritania and Aluminum in Mozambique. The Caliphate is, of course, going to offer petroleum-based products and assist them in their struggles, in term for them trading valuable ores and minerals only the Caliphate.

The Caliphate has also, in turn, asked for the construction of Naval bases. Mauritania accepts right away, due to their participation in the Arab world, but Mozambique politely declines as of now. That's fine, the Caliphate isn't going to force anyone to do anything... yet.

The Kush is feeling stunned at the moment of their colonization, experiencing waves of Egyptian people coming down the Nile, but they don't fight back at all. Hopefully, their gold deposits can be worked on by a powerful nation which would construct their economy anyway.
  18. SEU has officially introduced Penicillin as a drug for its armed forces. All patients with potential or actual infections will be treated with this new "Wonder Medicine".
Hmm, I'm sure it won't have any negative repercussions in the far future! Treating thousands of soldiers with one type of Drug can't possibly create a resistance among bacteria in the future!
In addition, SEU is also developing a type of ration for their armed forces, because they've been living off the land and that's no permanent solution. It will mostly be wet rations, all with Cans and Can Openers as well as some other food types.
In other news, the Commerce Raiders are working great. In simulated Battles with SEU cruisers, they both effortlessly destroyed escorts of a convoy and fled when heavier units arrived. They successfully fled SEU's fastest Battleships, a sure sign that they will be able to effectively raid commerce. 2 of the 3 complete units have been placed at Panama, and 1 near South Africa, as they finally relented. The coming one will be placed near the Empire of Japan. SEU knows that in the event of war, the Caliphate will be dependent upon the Federation for many of its resources. Despite Mauritania and Mozambique's resources, extraction from them will be just like Oil extraction in Romania; not enough to fight a major war, merely supplementary. The Federation will be the main supplier, and SEU knows it, so SEU will raid commerce if a war happens.
SEU also has a plan for dealing with the Fascists, it involves a lot less "starve them of resources" and a lot more "throw men at it".
  19. The Caliphate has developed their own Commerce Raiders, hoping to further control over their surrounding seas, now that they have an option to cut off enemy supplies. Secretly, Malaysia is being talked into building naval and military bases for the Caliphate, but if the SEU were to find out, it would spell doom for the tiny Muslim country sandwiched between the Caliphate's enemies. Maybe Indonesia would be the only one to help disguise their motives...
  20. In a grizzly campaign to finish the conquest of North Africa, the Caliphate has finally joined Algeria with the Caliphate. The conquest was met with opposition, the Algerian army fought back, but they were too outmatched by the Caliphate and accepted annexation anyway.

This is groundbreaking for the Sunayyad Caliphate, marking the dream of the recreation of the Umayyad Caliphate, the 2nd dynasty that stretched from Pakistan to Spain. Although the Caliphate does not wish to annex Pakistan, Morocco, nor Spain, it still counts, as Morocco and Pakistan are both strong Islamic allies, even if it isn't an annexation copy of the Umayyad, it still counts as alliances stretch in the same areas.

The remaining countries to fulfill the Caliphate dream is Afghanistan and some of the Stan countries. Thankfully, the Stan countries are Muslim, ruled by countries that they don't want to rule them anymore, and ruled by countries who disgrace their religion heavily. Some groups in the Stans have publicy admitted to wanting to join the Caliphate and get rid of their rulers who sympathize with Marxism, an anti-religious mindset which is soon to plague the nation. The Caliphate can't take them via military might, it is much too risky and would end up in a devastating loss, the only way is for civil unrest and a revolution in those nations.
