The chunks are always loaded, the farm is not that big. And this did break them because it worked for 6 months before hand. But like always these are the responses we get. Very disappointed.
Were you doing this in town? I can't even create an iron golem in town using 3 iron and jack'o'lantern (but I can in wastelands). Maybe that was what changed
Mobs can't be made in town, you'd have to do it in the waste or wild. The only mobs (besides animals) that can be made in town are snowmen using special items.
