First time I died was back either the first or second day I joined. I can't remember exactly what all I had on me but it was probably just some wood and cobblestone while gathering some out in the waste and was a noob at killing mobs back then and kept dying trying to get back to spawn. xD Honestly I don't really think any smp is better than another. Probably the coral reefs, sunken ships and underwater structures for the lost treasure maps. The friends I made and the uniqueness of this amazing server.
Wow congrats for being here for so long! How often do you welcome newcomers to the server, and when you do, how do you deal with the soul-crushing rejection when 99% of those newcomers inevitably leave without saying a word and never come back?
Congrats on 4 years. My question for you is what was the first thing you built on emc on your residence? Also thank you for the giveaway
Congratz! I have only been on the server for 56 days, but I play almost everyday, in the evenings, on EMC9. What is your advice for having the most enjoyable time and getting the most out of EMC?
Hey congrats, being fairly new here (3 months), my question is - how has EMC evolved over the years and what about EMC do you think keeps players both new and old engaged?
Depends on how much attention I pay attention to chat, sometimes I get really focused on what I'm doing that I don't notice chat. And as for those who leave. It is a bummer when they decide to not stay but hey it's their loss and it wasn't the server they were looking for. Plus I'd rather a player decide the server isn't for them than be a troll and cause a ton of issues for other players and staff. A really big house made of birch planks, slabs, and stairs and most of the walls consisting of window panes. It took up most of my res. xD I was looking for a new server to play on after my friends brother stopped paying for his private one being up. I stayed cause I loved the uniqueness of the server and loved it just about right away and it was after looking at a good amount of others before it. The friends I made also are a big reason why I stayed. Glad to have you on EMC. I'd say make some friends and go to events whether its staff or player hosted they're all fun. Maybe host an event of your own you might enjoy doing so. Glad you stuck around. EMC has had many great changes. Some of the bigger changes happened before I had joined. But since I have they wastelands have expanded and anti grief was implemented which is nice because its less of a chance of being griefed, which happened to me twice. I think part of what keeps new and old players is all preference for each player. Often players stay for the friendly community, fun events, custom mobs, some prefer not having PVP much like myself and safety from griefers and that's only some of the great things about EMC.
Honestly all the staff really. xD Least favorite, I guess would have to be just about any time drama occurs or when a troll pops up and starts saying awful things in chat. As for my favorite has to be when I'm having fun building, mining, or end hunting with friends. Also winning a 2018 Cupids Bow by doing the invisible maze was nice too.
Happy 4 years Kiku! I'll ask you a question but no need to enter me in the giveaway What is your favorite mini game on the games server?
I think it'd have to be Simon Says, might be on the easier side but I find it fun. I'd have to say Design in Time, though it doesn't happen often. I think it's a fun design challenge while racing against the clock. I think there's quite a bit that has changed. Such as the anti grief, new games server, staff and even sometimes players coming up with new fun games and events over the years, now many more and new enraged mobs and so many other things that have been done over the years. This is the end of the giveaway and I will post the winners along with what they won and where to pick up soon. Feel free to continue asking questions if you wish but the giveaway itself is over. Thanks for all your congrats on my 4 years and for your questions!
