oki so I'm having a issue and its a little concerning I can't vote it won't even load fully for me even after letting it sit for 30 minutes I just get this
It sat too close to that of a staff member. And with all due respect but I have to agree with staff on this one, 'someone' even asked me in the recent past "if $moderator had a new alt or something".
that still doesn't make sense though? its his Minecraft user name .-. mojang in itself has nothing to do with emc? this is just a server someone made that doesn't mean that people should have to change their names just cause it slightly resembles another? and how does Floorfne look like Dufne?
By the way you made this thread it looked like you where wanting emc to fix it. But what I was saying is it's not up to emc and is out of their control.

Yeah, I'm getting the same issue. It's just TopG though, other voting sites work properly It can be argued that this is impersonating staff, but other than that it's just too close to a staff name and it's causing confusion (And he's had both names in the past, so there are a ton of names he could change it to and it would be one that he's already used in the past)
still doesn't make sense to me (been playing minecraft for about 6 years and only had 1 other name) but hey whatever they wanna do
It's almost like a high school making a rule that you can't swear: The government can't limit your speech rights, but others can. How that pertains to Minecraft: Mojang doesn't have a say in what Rhy makes his name, but EMC staff do
I think you're getting a little confused here. Eviltoade didn't change their name from Floorfne, they recently changed their name to "carlmoss" which sounds very much like "carolmoss" and people could mix up the two by accident which could be bad
Internet connection could cause the delay on those voting sites. If the connection is weak the load time is awful.
