Hi? I guess?

  1. So, I've been part of the Empire for 548 days and a few minutes (according to /p which might be my favorite command of all time). I've never formally introduced myself (or at least, if I did, I don't remember doing so and it's probably outdated so I'll make another one), so I guess there's no time like the present.

Hello, my name is Llewellyn. I'm an author and currently in the midst of writing a novel. I play the violin, and I think marshmallows are pretty swell.

Yes I can actually spell, but unfortunately, FluffyMarshmallow is one too many characters too long.

I joined the Empire on February 17, 2015, at 3:15 pm, and found it through TopG.com. I left for a little bit a few months ago. My best friend in-game and in real life is Mrs_Fuzzlewuzzle. We've known each other since the 4th grade.

If you want to, you can ask me questions and I'll do my best to answer them.

Thank you all for making EMC a fairly enjoyable experience for me ^-^

Edit: Check out my thread on the Minecraft Forums... I would really appreciate the help... http://tinyurl.com/j29paaw

  2. Hey I found this server through TopG.com as well. Well It's nice to have you here and to enjoy the splendors that is EMC.

What's is your in progress novel about and have you written anything else?
  3. Trying to explain it is a lot harder than I thought it would be... I guess you'll just have to find out once it's finished :p
And I have written stuff before but none of it has been published.

  6. As an author myself, I know the feeling. "How do I talk about this without giving everything away?" :D
I'm curious to know what genre at least. Also, if you haven't taken notice of the Writers Corner yet, you really ought to. It could always use more love.

  7. There's a lot of punctuation in this thread. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

  10. The genre is sort of fantasy and science fiction. Somewhere in there :p I'll make sure to check out the Writer's corner. I've read some of your stuff there before. Perhaps I'll write something up to put there one of these days... Who knows...

  14. You seem like a good person, well organized and whatnot, I'd like to know how you get yourself to write a novel, I've always wanted to get into writing but midway I just lose confidence, give up, and delete all that I've typed. Could probably help me out to pull myself together and make a story or something.

  16. Hey!
    Sounds fun!
I hope your Realms issue gets resolved, but I can't help you with that as I've never used Realms myself.
So uh, there's this question on my mind that I'm not sure if you'd like to answer and I'm not even sure what staff thinks about asking the question: what's your age? Or alternatively, how many years ago is it that you were born? There used to be an option for having it displayed next to your name, location and gender, but it was removed years ago.
I'm 17 myself, and find it interesting to see I have friends in all age groups here, while in real life, nearly all of my friends are roughly the same age! That's probably because there's such a variety of people to interact with here, while in real life I mostly interact with people at school, so my only friends are classmates, other people from my year, someone that used to be two years above me but has graduated now, and a relatively young teacher. If you compare those age differences to the age differences of my friends here, though!... :)

  17. I think I do remember you! Your name sounds familiar...
I know the feeling. Beginning my novel, I wrote about seven different beginnings. Then I gave up on writing the beginning and skipped to some part in the middle, where it was beginning to pick up action. Since I was more interested, and I knew what needed to happen, I went back to the beginning and it was much easier. Now I'm almost complete with Chapter 7.

It also helps if you plan it out before you write. My father was actually the one that had the idea for the book, he just wanted me to be the one to write it, so we took some time to plan it out in a book outline.
How old do you think I am? :p Whatever you think it is is probably relatively close.

  18. Hm... I normally don't dare guess with females, but as you asked yourself... :p
Reading some more posts by you, I found this:

    Oops
Okay, but for my guess... It's hard, as I don't know you very well.
    How about 25 years?

  19. So I did make that post! I thought I remembered writing it, but I wasn't sure if I did or not.

Good guess. You're a bit off, but that's alright. :p

  20. Hai Fluffe! How long have I known you for now? Hehehe.

I didn't know that you were a writer! Good to know, perhaps you should try out for the contribution team if you want to write even more.
