In regards to this, I wanna know something.... Nothing personal against you ESSELEM, I promise. Why the living heck would Pokemon be satanic!?!?!? I was at work the other day and an older guy said that Pokemon Go is the coming of the antichrist... Seriously...? Wtf...? XD
this game is not dangerous unless u go to a dangerous place such as a rundown part of town a area with a high crime rate or abandoned /well hidden spots such as bridges fields junkyards etc. and it is all the players decision to go catch that 1 pidgy in that run down part of town with the highest crime rate in the usa
My entire town in a single sentence. We have a sandstone quarry here that people keep dying in and the council doesn't do anything to protect people from going there because funding lol.
That article, and the extreme focus on Pokemon being dangerous, is kind of a joke. Look at all of their reasons not to play the game. You might scrape your knee, hurt yourself, or get in an accident because you aren't paying attention. By this same logic we should never head outside. Even more interesting is the fact that it wants you to not play Pokemon go saying that there were a whole 2 non-fatal accidents (of the 5000 that happen a year according to that article) where people learned their lesson in both cases. A whole 2 accidents, one person getting minor injuries near a cliff, and a couple people almost getting hurt by walking into a minefield that really shouldn't exist. These are their reasons for not playing the game. If you follow the advice people have been saying since before Pokemon Go (don't drive distracted, be aware of your surrounding, don't walk off with random strangers), you will be perfectly safe.
I still agree with my reason. I even voted that I think the game is dangerous. I looked it up, and I saw evil things about the game. I tried it, and I thought it was boring. I still think it is dangerous, and should not be played. You SHOULD be aware of your surroundings. Everybody has a different opinion though. I think it is dangerous, and I would never play it.
