Help! I Keep Crashing!

  1. I'm trying to play on Empire Minecraft with the Christmas Sphax texture pack (128x128). I can only be online for a few minutes before I crash. When I look at the game output, it says stuff about what I was doing, and at the end there's this:

I know that to fix the problem I can just take off the texture pack, but I shouldn't be crashing because of the texture pack in the first place! What's the problem?
  2. How much memory have you allocated to minecraft?

  3. Using resource packs often requires more memory, and it might just be possible that Minecraft ran out, just like Tom said up there. Try looking through the logs and see if you can find something mentioning "memory".
  4. The default. How do I add more?
  5. It said it had to increase the bufferbuilder, and just before I crashed there was a warning about memory.
  6. Give me a second to find the link. :)
  7. Hmm.. a lot of my friends lately have been bugging me about crashing. It could be an error with your Mimecraft, or Wifi. Someone could be hacking your account, and they might be doing something to make you crash. If you need more help, you may private message me for more details. http://emc.gs/conversations/hellokittyro

  8. No >.<

I'm 99% sure she's running out of memory, she should first try what my link tells her to do.
  9. I forgot to include that.. got distracted.
  10. Has nothing to do with the game, wifi or hacking. If it's not the memory then most likely could be your texture pack. I have this issue daily when I switch over to other smps.
