I was taught PI at the age of 11 Pi is basically part of the formula to work out the circumference of a circle. Step by step You first need to find the diameter, you can do this by drawing a line from one side of the circle to another then measuring it, So, let's say it's 18cm You then times that number by PI (3.141) So we get 56.5486 That's the circumference of that circle.
Ooohohoh, Im 11, interesting, so If the circle was to be 50 cm across, then times that my 3.141, The circumference is 157.05? What is a circumference?
