I agree with everything you said until your last arguement. Almost nobody where I live watches Europe football OR hockey. We watch US football. My guess is that last/this year Aikar did not watch the world cup and did watch at least part of the super bowl unless he watched none at all. I agree that soccer is VERY popular in the eastern hemisphere and parts of the southern western hemisphere, but football is THE sport in America and other western countries. None the less, I don't want a flame war. EDIT: What you said about hockey makes me need to bring up another point. Intrest in sports is by region. In Canada it is hockey in at least the US it is American football and in Europe it is mainly soccer ect.
