[suggestion] Let us put locks on beacons in the wild.

  1. Those things are valuable, and they are required to emit a very visible beam in order to work. I believe the benefits of securely locked beacons would hugely outweigh the costs.

    Are we agreed?

  3. They are your property, and it is your responsibility to keep them safe. A Beacon is one item; Chests can hold MANY items.

  7. As the link Pab1os just provided you can lock beacons in the wild for quite some time now. I know numerous members who have beacons, enchanted tables and even furnaces locked.
