Alright Situation Fixed!! the farms on utopia are back open!!! there's still some few things that i am working on and am adding in near future so lets be excited! i am adding in chorus fruit as well in the next project for the res so may be needing some donations anything ill be greatly appreciated

Smp6 now has a public blaze farm along with a public wither skeleton farm not to farm behind.

to get to the blaze farm go to the 2nd floor of the farm hub and look for the blaze and wither skeleton farm rail.

we are still working on the first part of the tunnel. but its open

Smp 6 public works would like to thank all those who have helped with the gun powder farm dig. That was a lot of digging in a very short time. we will start the building process and should have the 1st gun powder farm up and running by the end of this week if all goes to plan.

some of you have noticed and reported to us that players are buildmodeing themselves into the farms.

that is not the case. do to players contacting us about other players walking into the farms and stealing we have added a pressure plate door system. No one has griefed the farms. thank you to all you who have thought otherwise it really helps us out as we may not notice things right away.

the guardian farm will under go major surgery soon. we have found ways to improve the farm greatly.

when we start that we will close it of to the public till its done. the improvements should only take 2 - 3 days to do.

We have the gunpowder farm almost done. the farm however will remain closed until we have finished clearing all the water around it. If you would like to help us clear the water than contact me in game all help is welcome

Public works farm center is coming along. this should be open soon on smp 6 at v +works. currently it is at v +works2. here at the farm center you will be able to find info on all the farms, there is a public concrete maker and many other things.

along with the redesigned guardian farm with improved inksack drop rate

Smp6 public works has finished the Gunpowder farm to the point it can be opened for use.

keep in mined this is only half the farm there is no time frame on when the other half will be done

Some of you may have noticed that the guardian farm on smp 6 was closed. we have been busy making changes to it

and it is now reopen for use. you will notice its not 100% complete. we still have some cosmetic stuff to finish

this farm has a limit of 1 player at a time do to how it is built

we are in the process of building the 2 guardian farm along with a 3rd large iron farm do to how much they are used

I just want to say a massive thank you for the farms people build and I would be a stuck person without them!!

Id like to add that I have a large public mob grinder you go to frontier n the northwest it is along the edge of frontier spawn

where is the SMP6 PW portal?

Wild e, it's moved now that Krysyy's changed the spawns, but should be either north or south, if my memory serves me.

Clyde, and the SMP6 public utilities team, love the work you've done since I moved to 8. I can be bugged to help on Saturdays, or if I'm not busy with club stuff and EOCs (Like i am this week, grr). Just poke me if you want or need help.

After spawns were redesigned We adjusted design some, You can now use the portal right on the /frontier e spawn to get to the Public Farm Hub.

Hello! Its been a while since an update on the Public Farm Hub, so lets do this!
It's been slow but weve added some stuff and finished some stuff!
The path in the nether to the gunpowder farm!(we still need to do lots of digging to help out the spawn rates)
A rail system to a lava lake for fuel!
A auto smelter, clerics and mooshrooms to the gold farm were added!

A Chest was added to hopper everything to an auto smelter, smelt those swords!


This is the new Trash Room at the Gold Farm(maybe we should rename it, its not too trashy!)


Its harder to see but this is the nether side portal to the Gold Farm, Right behind it is the rail system to the lava lake of fuel!

(we left it dark to keep the original design of this portal area)

Can i past this so it gets fixed that the skelly farm sorter for bones arrows and bows is broken and is going into 1 chest rather than getting sorted

Hmm, this might be a problem with the Aquatic Update...
The Gold Farm is above an ocean right now to help keep other mobs from spawning, yes?
That'll be a problem as there will be more mobs such as various fish and Drowned (Zombies, was it?) that can spawn in the water below, making the farm much less efficient.

If you need help dealing with this problem, I'd be happy to provide some assistance

Yeah, I think our general consensus is to wait for EMC to update and see what it all breaks. haha. We'll give you a shout after the update.
