Say -HEY- to the new girl...

  1. Hey everyone. I've been in the Empire for a while now. It's nice to feel like I'm a part of something. You know' Inna is not my real name, but sometimes I like to think it is. I feel that I want to sometimes be someone else...... Do you guys too?

    Wow, that's a deep question... hm. I think not, because I can be whoever I want to be, really. As far as personality goes. Sometimes I'd want to be a girl... but I can change the way I act any time. I'm certain I'm different with only my best friend around me, different in class, different at church and different at home. I think it even highly matters what persons I'm with, as I often act quite differently around guys than around girls.
    And then here, as 607... it's even more a case where I can be everyone I'd want to be. Even a girl. Having an alternate account also helps, so I can have multiple personalities. It's odd... but thanks, it was a good question.

  15. Welcome to EMC :) I know this sounds super cliche, but I think we choose who we want to be. If you feel unsatisfied with who you are, learn something new. Pick up a hobby or learn a new skill, maybe meet some new people. There are tons of things most people never get to experience, just because they choose not to do them. The world is a beautiful and mysterious place and you just need to get out there and see what it has to offer. I know that's easier said than done, and for many those things seem like a huge risk to them, but you'll never know until you try. In the meantime, I hope you have fun here and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

  16. Well, in my opinion the Matrix (1st) was right about one thing: it is quite possible to have an real-life identity as well as an Internet persona. As for me, I don't really try to be someone else myself, just using the Internet as I always have ;)

    Anyway, a belated welcome to the Empire then :)
