  1. “To the Lord of Green”
(Tried-to-be Sonnet, but I accidentally added 1 extra stanza)

O sing to thee, a cherished Lord of Green.
Let none of the others go far to see.
    Disasters befall those who intervene.
Grace, help good men’s safety guarantee!

Thy life’s thread is not meant to be broken.
Thy wish is a command. Harm is taken.
What thou desire needs fetched a token.
O Lord of Green, let the times be makin’.

All swords’ reign has settled, but guns still storm.
The sun resigns its comfortable sky,
While fires a-blaze, passing the clock’s form.
The strongest force has no wish to comply.

A soldier’s heart is heavy, passes the time.
Not won, but two sides still fight for their lives.
For someone they hold dear, not for a dime.
O Lord of Green, spare them who love their wives.

It’s true that love shall come and come to pass.

Just know, thy fight for love will ever last.

  2. That's beautiful...

I really admire your skills to put something together like this.
English has always been my weakest subject in life, though I respect those who are good at it.~
