  1. I know some of you play it :p

For those that don't know, osu! is a completely free online rhythm game similar to games such as Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan, Elite Beat Agents, Taiko no Tatsujin, and Beatmania IIDX.

The objective is to click the circles and sliders to the time of the music. There are over 8.7 million players, and we've recently passed 5 billion ranked plays. You can download it here: osu.ppy.sh

I wanted to share one of my plays here.

  2. Bump, with an actually impressive play, unlike mine

  6. I played this for a little, it was fun, but I wasn't content with my mouse's performance, or perhaps I just didn't really enjoy it.
  7. I'v played OSU! before and I really like it. Except when people put circles on top of sliders, that really ticks me off.
  8. Maybe?

  10. You can actually use your keyboard, and just tap Z straight into X to hit the sliders.
  11. Huh, with a keyboard? That's hard to imagine. Or well, I can imagine it, but it seems much, much easier, which doesn't seem fair.
  12. It is, but everyone has a keyboard, don't they? :p You use your mouse to move the cursor and just tap with the keys.
  13. Ah, do you still need to move the mouse when you use the keyboard?
  14. Noooooo! osu... >_< The music is so annoying. Everyone plays it during lunch. I don't get why people like it so much. You just go though a bunch of disorienting circles and patterns. To get revenge, everyone has a touchscreen, so one touch can make them rage.. >=)

  16. I feel like this is one of those games that's only playable with a touchscreen.
  17. Actually, I've tried it with a touchscreen. It's hard. Most high level players use a drawing tablet, but some do use mice.
  18. *whips out trackpad* Fight me.
