Locked Signs on Spawners

  1. Pretty simple suggestion: Allow [ LOCKED ] signs to be used on spawners. Prevent them from being broken.

    ...aaannnnndddd I forgot the [Suggestion] prefix >.<

    Edit : But, maybe someone that is very wealthy, could go find as many spawners as possible, locking them all, and save none for others, but, he would need a massive amount of people to get those for him. Meh, nothing is impossible.

  6. I really like this idea. The only downside I can think of is that the sign would take up one block of potential spawning space. But since most grinders have one space above the spawner blocked off anyway, it wouldn't be a problem.

    I like it !
    But i still like the idea of being able to move the spawners to an extent.

  12. That would be a good thing to do.
    To prevent spawning when you are not using it.
  13. Personally I think that redstone powered spawners shouldn't spawn mobs (so you can stick a redstone torch on top to deactivate them). Doubt that'll EVER be implemented though.

  16. I believe not, but [ LOCKED ] signs disable pistons anyway.

    This is on SP btw, but no spawning would be disabled by this.
  18. I like the idea so that people don't just destroy others spawners and hopefully Aikar can add the resdtone torch idea to EMC.
