I messed up something with optifine.

hi sgt i had similar problems what u running it on ? mac or windows if windows download the exe file so it doesn't crash if mac try fast craft instead (it works better than optifine)

Is fast craft an approved mod?

I run the .jar file and hit install and it installs and says everything if fine. But then I go to play and... crash.

i believe (do not quote me if i am wrong) u are using the mac version use the .exe file

Hmmm that's weird. I swear I have been clicking on windows. I'll go double look. Thanks for the idea!

Okay .... weirdest thing. I tried reinstalling just optifine one last time and now it's working. Maybe it was an optifine issue? I'll try it out a few more times and see if it's stable and I guess I'll have this thread closed if it works. Thank you everyone for your suggestions!
