Welcome back! Keyword: voting. As long as you keep voting then you won't go derelict and risk losing your stuff. Note that the minimum amount to stay safe is one vote every week. But if you vote daily you'll raise your voting streak and that can get you very nice rewards over time; from higher rupee amounts, emeralds and diamonds right up to tools which will never wear out (voters gear).
