  18. I know you are after a complex CobbleGen, but the following is an extremely simple one that works very well (excuse the ascii art, no time for images):

    Layer 1:
    XXX
    XXX
    X.XXX
    X..XX
    PXXXX

    Layer 2:
    XXX
    XWX
    ...X
    ...WX
    ...XX

    Layer 3:
    XXX
    XXX
    .XLXX
    ..XXX
    ...XX

    Then just stand on the yellow 'P' and alternate between the two cobble blocks. Quick and easy!
