Hey Everybody, I am hosting a fishing tournament on my res on smp6 @ /v 12641. The time for this event will be at 3:00 CST. The rules are as follows: 1. You have to got to at least catch 6 raw fish and 2 raw salmon. 2. No enchanted fishing poles (bring a regular fishing rod). 3. You will have your own personal chest upon request. (just ask me if you want to have a chest). 4. The first person who catches 6 raw fish and 2 raw salmon will receive a great prize!
Oh I forgot to mention. If you can come to my fishing tournament, maybe I can convince krysyyjane9191 to donate one of her heads as a grand prize if she will let me.
If I were you, I wouldn't have posted that without asking krysyy first Why do we not have to get pufferfish? Are they rare or something? Also, how are you going to prevent people from cheating? (I believe there are actually people with an EMC account who occasionally cheat)
607, I have had bad luck with ppl comig over to my event because I give out not so good prizes. I"m trying to do something good at my res. I know I"m not popular here in the EMC server here but I'm trying my best to get people to come to my res and buy from me and see what I offer. I guess I can give free rupees as a grand prize. I don't know what do you think?
Well, I wouldn't ever come for prizes. Maybe other people do, but for me it's about the event and the people, and not the prizes. Why I'm not coming: I'm not really interested into fishing, I find it kind of boring. Plus, indeed, you're not too popular yet. If you were a good friend of mine, I would probably try to come anyway. But because I don't know you, and I don't know of anyone else of my friends going to this event, I would probably feel a little alone. I don't care about prizes, because there's almost no chance it'll be something that's of use to me anyway.
I don't know, sorry, I'm not too good myself on events (once tried to hold one, two people came ) I feel bad for you now :3 Could anyone else give her some advice?
no! i would like to come. i hardly ever have a reason to fish in minecraft, so i could use some practice. also, once i post this comment, it will be in "recently viewed" for everyone, and maybe more people will see this thread. i will donate a prize, too. rupees, diamonds, potions, whatever. i have rupees to spend!
Multiple diamonds/lots of r/music discs+jukebox (?) for the winner (i can supply ), and rupees/potions/? for all participants. my budget for this is roughly 2k.
