Does this TS have a 'Minors Room'? On another server I used to play, we used Mumble and all the under-18's were relegated to their own room where the chat was more to a minors level leaving the adults to talk in peace. No offense to anyone under 18, but some of us have real problems hearing a ten year old screeching over their speakers. It also makes the neighbours call the police.
We haven't had anybody that young on yet, if it becomes an issue, it can and will be addressed. Come join. It's been too quiet.
im never using it again, my voice makes me sound like im 5 years old i hope there is a "Modify Voice" Button
Already, just downloaded TS3 and logged in. Needs more people on (there was only two apart from me). Maybe its just a dead time now, I'll go on later tonight when the EMC servers are usually full. -Mike
Well, it is called teamspeak, the reason we are on there is to voice chat, theres nothing wrong with voice chatting
You don't need a headset to hop on and listen to other people talk, but if you feel the need to respond to their comments, you'll need a mic of some sort. There is a chat box built into the Teamspeak3 client, but most people who are in-game don't check it often.
Fixed. I'm looking at you, ISMOOCH :p Seriously though, I'm in there a lot (it's lonely, btw), and have dual monitors, so if you or anyone else can't/don't want to talk, I can translate what you type for others in channel.
the prob is not "translating it" but the annoying sound of the "cling!" everytime someone types.... imagin if it becomes like town chat... sooo many "cling!" that it be detrimental to the interest of having a TEAMSPEAK server... In all honesty, it should be only a hear/speak rule... shouldnt type.. we got plenty in-game ways to do so
Two monitors FTW! Its really good having 2 monitors, multitasking is a breeze Btw, you have to have the signature "Its in the grey text" To post grey text responses XD
