EMC needs PVP!

  1. i would like that maybe have a pvp chat channel or your chat switches to the pvp channel whenever you go into the pvp arena or whatever they make

  2. Yes, we are planning to add a new "PVP Server". It'll be completely seperate from the SMP servers (no vault/rupee sharing, may not even be called rupees!). It will be Match Style Team Objective PVP matches.

    However, theres alot on my plate ahead of it. Itll be months before its done...

  3. I always think when I see a forum post like this, Not again >.< but when I read on, actually I thought this should be implemented! The Thing i think wrong of this idea is that the levels vary of pvp skills. Maybe we can add a option to put how you think how good you are pvp? Then some newer to pvp actually might win.

  7. The only place I think PVP should be allowed is in some kind of arena in town. People could hold tournaments there. Nothing war related and no greifers. An arena with fights and matches that are planned in advance.

  9. Frankly, If you want PvP, Go find another server that has PvP, 90% of people joined this server because they DIDN'T want PvP, hence the poll results. It would create so much tension in the non PvP EMC if someone killed them in PvP EMC.

    Another server I used to play decided to make another PvP server (Non PVP) and within a month it had shut down because everyone left (I came here)

  11. Yes, because pvp would invite more players, but don't advertise EMC
    as a
    PVP SERVER
    that would invite pure pvp'ers and that might do some harm.

In case it wasn't already made obvious, we have, in the past, come to a consensus that if we did decide to make EMC PvP, it would be COMPLETELY separate from normal SMP's, whether by a separate server or other means. There's no need to worry about being murdered whilst hunting for diamonds or other various riches.

  16. I'm with you all the way! I was on a friend's server once, and the server had PVP on. I had quite a few iron ingots and some food. When I walked into my house, some random jerk comes in and kills me! :mad: No to infinity!!!!!!

  17. Couldn't of said it better myself. Here's a short version, though.

    Aikar make pvp server. It not part of main EMC servers. PVP = side server.
