OK so these are the current notes about the auction:

You can place bids in the forums, and you can place bids in the public auction. We'd much rather you place your bids in the public auction. As soon as the auction starts, you can no longer place a bid for 'any egg', you HAVE to specify the egg you're bidding on!

PLEASE use local chat if you're at the auction! Type "/ch L" to switch to local chat. Admins have full permission to kick you for spam if you're not in local chat. We're going to start off by auctioning off Smp4. After Smp4, we'll auction off Smp3, then 2, then 1.

The public spreadsheet(https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsJTQ1H0ablPdDlkVG9zendlamdSR1R0XzZPOE9IcXc#gid=0) should update once every 20-30 seconds for those who aren't on the server.

The eggs will remain on lot 2430 at all times until sold, even though the auction is on lot 2223.

More info to come tomorrow. Please check these forums within an hour of the auction for further updates. We should have everything posted before 6:00 pm EST.

Newer rules:
through most of the auction, you can only bid in increments of 500r. This means that if the bid is at 55,500, you have to bid at least 56,000 to be a valid bid.
Towards the end, we'll lower the minimum increment to 100r.

We cannot guarantee you the egg but one way to insure your bid is to bid very high so no one will outbid you.
My suggestion is to wake up for the auction and then sleep when its over because this is a rare opportunity!
As far as I know you CAN win the egg even if you are offline but its unlikely. (you can be outbid by 1 rupee)
