Creating Snow Golems disabled?

Hey all!

I was wondering: I managed to build snow generators before, but today, impossible to build a golem. Is it blocked since the last update for either economic or permission reasons? Because I need the snow very badly.

They are only blocked in /town, but you can normally create them in the /wild

Is this is town or in the wild? I believe they are disabled in town, but if it was in the wild I really can't help you there.

It was in the wild. North of South Outpost. Last week there was snow, so I made a golem cavern (You can see the remains but now it won't spawn anymore. Bummer.

Dont't they only work in snow biomes? Were you in one?

Why are they disabled in town?

They fall under the "Monster" flag in reses, which of course is disabled... Speaking of that, it would be nice if there was a "Golem" flag. (I have no idea if this is possible, but it seems like it could be done.)

Ah - Yes it would be nice if you could turn on Golems. Not to spawn them but to create them. Obviously I don't think people would like if you could spawn golem farms on your res. But if you could manually create them, would be very nice. I also wish we could turn on squid spawning per lot. I really want squid swimming in my water on my lot, but I can not even place them there with an egg. They despawned after a few minutes.

BTW - when I place a ocelot egg on my res. I get three from one egg. Is this intended? Or is it broken. It has happened multiple times. It seems like a duplication bug to me.

Can we not breed cats or dogs?

You mean where I am reporting a duplication bug instead of exploiting it? I don't understand. lol

If it is a bug at all. That is why I am asking.

Cause they are "kind of passive" mobs and it is very easy to grief with them.

I think he's just saying that because some people could come look at the post and start exploiting.

Aikar would add helpful flags if he could but to put it simply; the more flags you have, the more lag you get.
