Wow, this auction is still going on, and has officially gotten more expensive then if you were to egg 3,456 villagers using the eggcellent wand which would be 172,800r. I suppose the true selling point of this is in the convenience of so many villagers without the hassle. Still curious to see how high it goes. For those without a wand though the egging cost would be 345,600r which still makes this a major deal for them.

Wonders what one needs with an Army of Villagers? It would be cool if whoever wins would comment on their plans for use

KnightZerOne, that assumes one could find 3,456 villagers in the Wild or Wastelands to egg. That would take quite a long time.

What does KnightZerOne post have to do with bidding on this auction? I understand his question though. I do have plans for said villagers or I would not be bidding and I will happily PM KnightZerOne my plans but this isn't the place for this kind of talk.
