I've noticed a few of these threads going around recently, and they look like a lot of fun, and quite interesting. Since I'm very bored and have nothing better to do with my time, I figured I would create one.
Not too sure, got no projects on at the moment. I'm into photography, so I mainly go out and take pictures. I'm also into politics. Not doing much with that at the moment though, but I intend to in the future I also enjoy reading and having no social life because I'm always Infront of a computer. Hmm... Most fun thing on EMC would be talking to people, especially friends, and just messing around a bit. Basically just having a good time. Minecraft in general, maybe making odd things with command blocks and experimenting. Mini game are very fun though!
Haha, very true. I probably have just as many online friends as real life ones. Nope You're certainly right
Favourite Prime Minister? Thoughts on Scottish secession from the United Kingdom? Thoughts on Liverpool? (A fellow Liverpudlian ) Thoughts on the Scouse accent? Favourite word from Scouse dialect? Am I killing it with the questions about Scousers?
I've caught some of the olympics now and then. I have to say, I'm not the biggest fan of it. But I do enjoy watching certain events, such as equestrian and rowing.
1. Hmm... Well, one of them has to be Churchill. I have a lot of admiration for all the pressure he was under, as if you're not under enough pressure anyways as PM. I think he said some pretty good things to motivate he country and make sure no one gave up and kept fighting. "When you're going through hell, keep going." Is one of my favourites. As I've said before, I have a lot of respect for Margret Thatcher. She didn't give up when she wasn't elected the first time she tried , she just kept trying - despite the sexism and lack of belief from most of parliament. I don't agree with some of the decisions she made and things she did ect. But I do believe she deserves some credit. 2. I'm quite a big fan of Sturgeon, I believe she is kind of wasted in the SNP, in my opinion, although she has gotten herself in quite a high position in Scottish Parliament. If Scotland want to have another independence referendum then they can. Part of me isn't too bothered if they do leave us. Maybe they will leave because of the EU and all that, but they did make their decision last time, but a lot has changed since then. Howevr, I do believe we're always better off as a team and United. 3. There's good things and bad things about Liverpool, like every place, of course. But one thing I do like, and makes me proud to live here is the history. Mainly The Beatles. I'm sure a lot of people would say that. I think they're quite good and their song lyrics are really clever. Another good thing would be the buildings and sight seeing. There's quite a lot to do, it's also really good for photography. 4. I'm really not a fan of the Scouse accent, I find myself trying to avoid having it as much as possible. I'm not really very scouse myself though, most of my friends say I'm posh and believe I'm from else where. There are worse accents to have I suppose 5. Hmm... Since I never use it, I have to say I don't have one. I have to admit that I don't know many, and when ever my friends use them I get really confused and have to ask what they mean. 6. Yes, you are totally killing it. This kept me entertained for a while lol
Glad I'm not the only one. When I talk to family and friends it's pretty thick and I talk super quickly, but they understand me fine. If I go like, 6 miles away nobody understands me so I talk without the accent and slower - I end up having some kind of Yorkshire accent, which I guess is much nicer than my normal one My own favourite word from the dialect is probably 'devoed'. I had no idea what it meant until me and my friends were discussing 'chav language' and we brought that up - we suddenly had an epiphany that it was short for devastated, then realised it was smart to use because it's a lazy way of speaking. I also like arlarse. Calling your grandmother 'Queen' is probably the sweetest Scousers do Anyway questions What country would you most like to visit? Zayn Malik? Do you like booty?
1. Oooo... I love this question. I've actually made a long list of countries I'm going to travel to. I'm going to keep it and tick them off as I visit them. So far the list consists of: America - Washington, New York. I really want to see the White House, Lincoln Memorial and The Statue of Liberty. Canada - I love the sound of Canada, it sounds so welcoming and I really would like to move there... Russia - I'd love to see Red Square. I'd like to go in Winter, maybe some snow would be nice. London - Not a country but still somewhere I'd love to visit. I really want to see 10 Downing Street!! France - I would absolutely love to go to Paris. I think it'd be really good for photography. I'd like to visit the Eiffel Tower. Plus it's just so romantic! I'd also really like to go to Germany, Hawaii and see more of Spain. EDIT: Also not a country, but I'd love to go to Brighton, I think it looks quite nice and would be nice for photography. May be going soon Wow I really went to town with this question haha. 2. Hmm... I'm not really a fan. Particularly not of his recent song. I'm more into old songs - mostly ones people have never heard of. People think I'm a little odd for it. But I have to say, it's one of the things I quite like about myself 3. lol - is all I have to say to this xD
