Are Marlixes Airborne? Really, I'm just confused about the semantics. Do we consider them airborne, or are they landbound given that they ride a theoretical bat? Is the bat real, or just a mental construct? It all seems to be quite the philosophical question.
I don't see why they wouldn't be. If troops can be airborne, even though they are sitting or lying in a plane, so is Marlix, even though he is sitting on a bat. By the way, is the plural really 'Marlixes'? That sounds strange...
I mean, it's an irregular word, so anything really sounds strange. I suppose Marlixes is sort of like the word suffix (both of them end with ix) and the plural of suffix is suffixes, so I'm guessing Marlixes is the only viable plural form.
I would say 'Marlix' is fine for the plural. It's like a Pokémon. Also, 'Marlix' ends with an 's' sound! It's perfect for a plural!
