I chose smp8 because of its economy, lovely scenery, friendly people, and also Luckygreenbird told me to join smp8.
I found out about MC through my friend, Luckygreenbird, in fact the first minecraft game I got was the pocket edition, and this was back when the pocket edition just came out and was in it's Alpha stage so about early June, and then I got the full game of minecraft about mid-July of 2012
