  1. (I still don't want this to turn into a windows debate thread, and I personally like win 7 more)
    1. It isn't lol
    2. And so is win 7 and 8 after some updates
    3. And so do all OSs
    4. True lol
  2. Some random thoughts that are my own opinion...

Microsoft has been pushing towards hosted / cloud services. Could they require server hosting be through their data centers?

I agree with eliminating the java version.

Mixing platforms on the same player server never seems to work well. Different interface requirements means different approaches and designs to game features. If you have to write a feature for 10 platforms your development pace is very slow.

Is this death to modding community? Reversing engineering java is a lot easier than C++, especially if MS decides they want modders to use some approved SDK interface. (Thinking xbox sdk here.) It's also a different skill set.

If it goes C++ I'd be a lot more interested in developing MC server features.
  3. tho os patches them it is a 1 time thing XD unlike windows which is never a 1time fix
and i agree to the windows 7 thing
