Just picked up a new rifle only to get pulled over for speeding on my way out to shoot it and find out AZ in under a class 2 fire restriction, so no shooting until after the monsoons. RIP the day. May 7, 2018

        I don't think you know what I meant by a fire restriction. Because Arizona has not had any rain for awhile everything is extremely dry so the risk of a fire is very big. Therefore no campfires, charcoal grilling, smoking, or shooting. Nothing to do with terrorists.

        They can spark if they hit metal, tracers and incendiary rounds can start fires, people can shoot reactive targets like tannerite and start fires. It is just easier to ban shooting outside of private ranges than all the things that could start a fire.
