Part of living in a first world country. Plus, what if it was someone on their way to sneak in and cause another terrorist attack? I mean, I don't think guns need to be completely banned, and I even have multiple close family members that are gun enthusiasts, but safety (especially public safety) first.
I don't think you know what I meant by a fire restriction. Because Arizona has not had any rain for awhile everything is extremely dry so the risk of a fire is very big. Therefore no campfires, charcoal grilling, smoking, or shooting. Nothing to do with terrorists.
They can spark if they hit metal, tracers and incendiary rounds can start fires, people can shoot reactive targets like tannerite and start fires. It is just easier to ban shooting outside of private ranges than all the things that could start a fire.
