Untrained/generic models (such as chat gpt) do that, but you can teach it a specific format or writing style, or even knowledge base to pull from. One of the best examples I give to people is to tell chatgpt “explain me X three different ways. As If I’m a 10 year old, a 20 year old and a expert. It uses silly metaphors, but for a <20 word instruction it does the job.
Now imagine a model specifically trained to write in X or Y author style, or to blend the dialogue style from X books with the prose from another. Even a simple instruction such as: “ please write in a style not common of being written by AI can improve the results. Prompt engineering is definitely a new science :)
