That you for the thought 607 but I have many DCs of eggs. I have been collecting them for a couple of years now from my chicken farm. I've always viewed them as the unwanted by product but to see a recent auction of 1 DC go for 100k piques my curiosity.

Wouldn't be the first time they won with a million r bid.

10 years ago, one of the first redstone machines was a chicken 🐔 cooker, as a renewable food source. Chicken would pop an egg 🥚 out, into a hopper dispenser then baby 🐥 when it grew up it would hit lava blade and cook. Seems like 10 years. At the time eggs were valuable but not silly money

Can't be, Silken, as you need a hopper for that, and hoppers weren't added until full release 1.5, which was released in March 2013.

I was enquiring just to see if I was missing out on something. It might have just been a one off auction. If it happens again I'll dig a little deeper. I usually ask my son about what new in MC but he's off to school and I don't want to distract him. Thank you to all that have responded with ideas. 🙂

It's the opposite for me, farmerguyson! I thought "That contraption must be quite recent, as it uses items from 1.5", and then I realised that 1.5 was released 8 years ago. ._.
