Ik weet het, hij staat nog in mijn watched threads lijst. :P Aaand I just realised that this isn't a PM, so let's redo that. :P
I know, it's still in my watched threads list. :P

Also, from far away, CwP. kind of looks like CwR. I went back to this post to check if I didn't miss anything, and again thought it was CwR with something in front of part of the leg of the R. :P

@Tom I never seem to use that. :P My alerts *generally* suffice but alerts seem to mysteriously disappear after some time... may explain why my activity is sporadic in CwP (CwR).

I use it to check when I've missed things. I don't think alerts mysteriously disappear. At least, it always seems that what happens for me is that I open an alert, get distracted, and forget about it. If the alert was for a thread that only got new posts on a single page, that's fine. If there are additional posts on a new page, I will not receive alerts for that thread anymore, until I load the new page(s).

I use the watched threads list all the time. :D I use alerts for going to everything that isn't a regular thread reply, and for some threads that I fancy opening immediately.

The threads that remain go into my watched threads list, from where I can open them whenever I feel like. Things like giveaway threads or forum games often don't need to be read immediately, so I don't keep getting alerts from them all the time.

(that last sentence wasn't complete, I just realised) , but do still have them somewhere so I don't forget to read them eventually.
