    The main issue was that I had let them go to voicemail, as I'd been getting a ton of calls from my area code hounding me to vote for x or sign a petition for x or just a random number asking for a "Sharmelle" from my area code or a 502 number....

    the voicemail was faster spoken than the call, so that was nice... but still annoying... I didn't really get a chance to ask her to slow down. And I don't like interrupting people.

    Record the voicemail (with another phone) and play it at a slower playback speed. ;)

    Next time, will most likely do this- but I did get an email a couple hours later from the billing services explaining the problem. (Woo! American healthcare and the constant argument with insurance!)
