I got back to my flat building from a night out with my friends, and we’d just gone out with an American student, and she got her peanut butter out and started eating it in spoonfuls.    I don't keep PB around the house, so instead, to cure hiccups, I put a paper towel over top a glass of water and drink through that. Idk why, but it works.
