I'm not giving details because I see no reason to make it public. Just something that's making me want to be not very EMC friendly right now. (nothing EMC.)
If I get a call from a number I don't recognize, I'll just send a text that says "Sorry, I don't take calls from numbers I don't recognize" and I have a voicemail respond thingy whatever it's called that says the same
Invasion of the voicemail.
I block every number given but I still get pretty much the same call, from a different person, giving me a different number to call, with a different "consultation number". I'm very tired of playing whack a mole with block the numbers.
Yikes... when I switched to a new email, I kept a database of accounts that I created so that it would be easy to switch again if I needed to. If you keep contacts then your best bet would probably be to switch (1/2)
phone numbers and just text/call everyone you know and switch things like bank accounts, etc. I know it seems like a lot of work but I think it will pay off in the long run in terms of time saved not having to block numbers (2/2)
I get calls from numbers I don't recognize all the time. My voicemail is setup telling them to leave a message. I figure if its important, they'll leave a voicmail and I can call them back. If they dont leave one, I dont call back.
This sounds like they're reading a script of some sort- the voicemail will start and they're to their name, they stop, and restart... It's frustrating.
Cant stop all of them, but if you have an iphone you can create a contact (named spam, etc), block it, and assigned all numbers you want blocked to it. Those number wont cause your phone to go off in the future once added to the contact.
Note: they can still leave voicemails, but its rare for that to happen. Also dont text or call back; that indicates the number is valid and they’ll start slamming your phone. Make them leave a voicemail and *then* decide if they’re worth bothering with after hearing and researching.
